Hello! My name is Alla Zhmerenetska, I am 41 years old, and I live in Kremenchuk. My life is a constant search for balance between my profession, lifelong learning, and a genuine desire to make the world around me more inclusive.
I am a rehabilitation specialist and occupational therapist, as well as the Head of the Adaptation Centre for Teenagers with Disabilities at the NGO Inclusion Without Limits. This project, which we have been developing together with Anna Andriienko, is much more than a job for me — it is my calling. I entered this field to support my own son, and today, together with our team, we help many teenagers become more confident, independent, and prepared for life.
In my busy schedule, it is essential to find time for myself in order to have the strength and energy to support others. My journey towards physical and emotional well-being is an ongoing process. I am constantly exploring approaches that help me stay grounded, restore inner balance, and reconnect with myself, whether through body-based practices, movement, or creative activities.
Art therapy holds a special place in my life. Candle making, soap making, painting, and other creative activities have become a form of meditation for me — a way to slow down, clear my mind, and restore emotional energy. Creativity reminds me of the importance of self-care and the value of finding beauty even in the smallest moments of everyday life.
Working with children, teenagers, and families has taught me that every person deserves respect, understanding, and the opportunity to reach their full potential. I deeply believe in the power of support, acceptance, and human connection. Sometimes even a small act of kindness can become the beginning of meaningful change in someone’s life.
Everything I do is driven by genuine care and commitment. I invest not only my professional knowledge and experience into my work, but also my emotions, values, and a part of my heart. For me, supporting others is not simply a responsibility — it is a mission that inspires me every day.
