Our Team: Krystyna Neborak

I am the mother of a child with a disability, and I work at the Adaptation Center for Teenagers with Disabilities as a social worker and administrator.

My work requires responsibility, kindness, and the ability to find an individual approach to every child.

It is very important to me that every teenager feels care, attention, and acceptance. I help children and teenagers believe in their own abilities by creating a space where they can grow, communicate, and feel valued.

Every day, I see how important support, genuine understanding, and a safe environment are for children. Even small achievements — a new skill, a smile, a willingness to interact, or the confidence to do something independently — become meaningful steps forward both for the child and for their family.

For me, the Center is more than just a workplace. It is a space where we help teenagers discover their strengths, become more independent, and feel included in society. I sincerely rejoice when I see them becoming more confident, active, and open to the world around them.

An equally important part of my work is supporting parents, because families raising children with disabilities often need not only services and assistance, but also simple human understanding. I believe that kindness, patience, and respect for every person can create real and meaningful changes in the lives of children and their families.

I believe that every person deserves support and the opportunity to live a happy and fulfilling life. That is why my work is deeply valuable and meaningful to me.
