This social service is designed to provide psychological support, emotional recovery, and restoration of inner resources for mothers raising children and people with disabilities through creativity, art, and therapeutic artistic practices.
The “DoPaMin” program was created as a safe and supportive space where women can step away, even for a short time, from the constant stress, anxiety, exhaustion, and responsibility connected to daily caregiving. It is a place where they can not only create but also feel heard, accepted, and understood without judgment or the pressure to always remain strong.
Through creativity, music, hands-on artistic activities, shared experiences, and emotional expression, women gradually reconnect with themselves, their emotions, needs, and inner strengths. Very often, art becomes a safe way to express fatigue, pain, fear, hope, or joy—especially when words are difficult to find.
The goals of the therapy include:
- encouraging creativity and self-expression;
- reducing stress, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion;
- supporting emotional well-being and restoring inner balance;
- creating positive emotional experiences and personal resources for daily life;
- providing a space for shared experiences, mutual support, and social connection;
- strengthening self-confidence and belief in personal abilities;
- supporting the emotional resilience of mothers who care daily for children and people with disabilities.
During the sessions, women have the opportunity not only to explore new artistic techniques but also to gradually regain a sense of self-worth, femininity, inner strength, and the right to care for themselves. An atmosphere of trust, warmth, and acceptance helps participants feel that they are not alone in their experiences.
Art therapy creates a rare opportunity to pause amidst constant caregiving responsibilities and reconnect with personal needs, emotions, and dreams. Very often, these creative gatherings become a source of relief, emotional support, inspiration, and renewed strength to move forward.
The sessions contribute to personal growth, improved quality of life, emotional well-being, and the development of inner resources that directly influence family relationships, the emotional state of children, and the family’s ability to cope with everyday challenges.
