Group Activities and Creative Workshops

The “Group Activities for Children and People with Disabilities” service is designed to create a safe, supportive, and creative environment where every child and every individual has the opportunity to develop their abilities, interact with others, and feel accepted as a valued part of the community.

The service includes a variety of creative, musical, movement-based, and developmental activities that help children and people with disabilities not only spend meaningful time together but also develop important skills for daily life, social interaction, emotional well-being, and community participation.

Group activities play an important role in social inclusion, because through shared creativity, movement, music, and teamwork, participants learn to communicate, support one another, express emotions, and experience a sense of belonging. For many children and adults with disabilities, these activities also provide an opportunity to overcome fear of communication, experience success, and build confidence in their own abilities.

Dance Group

The dance group helps participants develop movement skills, coordination, rhythm, body awareness, and physical control. Through dance, participants are able to express emotions freely, release internal tension, and experience positive emotional engagement.

Dance sessions have a positive impact not only on physical well-being, but also on emotional health. Movement through music helps participants relax, experience joy, freedom, and confidence. For many individuals, dance becomes a powerful form of communication when expressing emotions through words may be difficult.

A particularly valuable aspect of the sessions is the atmosphere of encouragement and mutual support created within the group. Participants learn to interact with one another, work together, build trust, and celebrate shared achievements.

Music Group

The music group is focused on developing auditory perception, musical appreciation, rhythm, vocal abilities, and instrumental skills. Through music, participants are able to express emotions, creativity, and individuality in a safe and accepting environment.

During the sessions, participants listen to music, sing, use musical and percussion instruments, perform rhythm-based activities, and learn to engage as part of a musical group. These activities support the development of attention, memory, coordination, communication skills, and emotional expression.

Music has a unique therapeutic value. It helps reduce anxiety, support emotional regulation, create positive experiences, and foster a sense of inner safety and connection. For many children and adults with disabilities, music becomes a way to feel heard, valued, and emotionally connected with others.

Through group activities, children and people with disabilities receive support in developing social, emotional, creative, and physical abilities. Most importantly, they gain opportunities to actively participate in community life, build friendships, discover their talents, and experience joy through creativity, communication, and personal achievement.

These activities also contribute to building a more open and inclusive society where every person, regardless of disability or support needs, has the right to development, self-expression, support, and full participation in community life.
