Therapeutic exercise and Physical Rehabilitation services for children with disabilities, children with severe disabilities (Subgroup A), and adults with disabilities are designed to support physical development, maintain mobility, improve well-being, and enhance quality of life through individually tailored exercises and rehabilitation approaches.
Sessions are conducted under the guidance of a qualified physical rehabilitation specialist, taking into account each participant’s age, diagnosis, physical abilities, developmental level, and individual support needs. It is important to us that every child and adult feel safe, supported, and encouraged, where physical activity becomes not a source of stress but an opportunity to reconnect with their body, movement, and personal abilities.
For many children and adults with disabilities, physical activity is essential not only for physical development but also for emotional well-being, social interaction, and the development of greater independence in everyday life. For this reason, therapeutic exercise is aimed not only at strengthening the body but also at supporting confidence, motivation, and active participation in daily routines.
The sessions include exercises focused on:
- improving movement skills, coordination, and flexibility;
- developing fine and gross motor skills;
- strengthening core muscles and supporting healthy posture;
- preventing spasticity, contractures, and muscle atrophy;
- maintaining joint mobility and balance;
- improving circulation, breathing, and metabolic processes;
- encouraging physical activity and endurance;
- developing body awareness and movement control;
- supporting emotional well-being and reducing anxiety.
For children with severe disabilities (Subgroup A), all exercises are carefully adapted according to their physical condition, mobility level, and sensory needs. Particular attention is given to comfort, a safe pace of activity, prevention of overload, and maintaining positive emotional engagement throughout the sessions.
Therapeutic exercise also helps children and adults become more aware of their bodies, build confidence in movement, and reduce fear associated with physical activity. For many participants, even small achievements – an independent movement, improved coordination, or successfully completing a new exercise – become deeply meaningful personal victories.
An important part of our work is encouragement and emotional support. We strive to create an environment where participants are not afraid to make mistakes, feel supported, and can gradually achieve progress at their own pace. It is through these small steps that belief in personal abilities and motivation to move forward begin to grow.
Regular therapeutic exercise sessions contribute to improved physical health, greater independence, increased activity and endurance, and better social adaptation for children and adults with disabilities. Most importantly, this service helps individuals experience greater freedom within their own bodies, more confidence in their abilities, and fuller participation in everyday life and society.
