The First Trophy for Our Centre: Success at a Petanque Tournament

Today was a truly special day for the participants of the Adaptation Centre for Teenagers with Disabilities and the team of the NGO Inclusion Without Limits. At the initiative of the NGO Defence of the State, a petanque tournament was held in Kremenchuk, bringing together people of different ages and backgrounds through this popular European sport.

For many participants, it was their first introduction to petanque. However, from the very first moments, the game captivated everyone with its excitement, teamwork, and welcoming atmosphere. The tournament provided a wonderful opportunity not only to try a new activity, but also to socialise, make new friends, and experience a strong sense of community.

The team of Inclusion Without Limits demonstrated determination, teamwork, and a true sporting spirit, proudly earning second place in the competition.

A particularly special achievement was the success of our participant, Artemii, who won first place among the youngest competitors. His victory was the result of dedication, focus, and a willingness to challenge himself and embrace new experiences.

This day will remain an important milestone in the history of our Centre, as it brought us the very first trophy ever won by participants of the Adaptation Centre for Teenagers with Disabilities. For us, this award is much more than a sporting achievement. It is a symbol of what becomes possible when young people are given opportunities, encouragement, and the belief that they can succeed.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the NGO Defence of the State for organising this event and creating a space where military personnel, volunteers, community activists, young people, and people with disabilities could come together. Events like this help build a more inclusive society based on respect, support, and unity.

The experience has inspired us to explore new opportunities, and we are already considering introducing petanque as a regular activity within our Centre. We believe this game can become another valuable tool for developing communication skills, social inclusion, teamwork, and active participation in community life.

Congratulations to all the participants, and especially to our winners. Thank you to everyone who helped make this memorable day possible.
