We will definitely remember this weekend for a long time!
Our Center for Adaptation of Adolescents with Disabilities finally fulfilled its dream — we went to the tulip parade in Kropyvnytskyi. Just imagine: 86 people, four large buses, and almost three hours of travel one way. It was a real challenge, but it was worth every minute!
When we arrived at the Arboretum, the fatigue from the move simply disappeared. Before our eyes were endless fields of flowers, thousands of tulips of all possible colors. For our children, it was a real miracle. You should have seen their eyes at that moment! Some froze in delight, some tried to photograph every flower, and some simply smiled happily at the sun. These are the emotions that cannot be played or faked — pure, childish happiness.
For parents, this trip was no less than a holiday. Raising a child with a disability is a daily, tireless job, so the opportunity to simply escape to another area, change the picture, and be among your loved ones, where they understand you without words, is a real breath of fresh air. Parents were finally able to relax a little, chat, and see their children absolutely happy, surrounded by incredible beauty.
We returned home tired, but with hearts full. Thank you to everyone who helped us organize this large-scale trip. We were once again convinced: when we are together, no distances or obstacles matter. Now there are 86 more happy stories in our common treasury of memories!
